Slow Down and Chain Up in the Snow!

The driver of this truck took the wrong road (followed his GPS) that took him down a dirt logging road with no where to turn a big rig around. He slid off the road and got stuck 10 miles up the road.

Should of chained up !

Didn't Chain up and ripped the Cab... off the frame of truck!

Notice, No tire tracks...!!! YAHOOOO ...what a ride. Truck and Trailer Ran/Slid off roadway, hit a berm, caught some air, and did a belly flop.?!?!

USF Reddaway slipped over the edge! No real damage to the truck.

The warning sign to Chain Up...is for Safety!! Granted... it is work to Chain up a Big Rig!!

This Big Rig took a wrong turn then slid off a dirt road. Winched him out of ditch, chained him up, guided him several miles backwards.... back out to Highway 89.

Flatbed Truck Wreck

Big Rig Wreck, this Flatbed Truck loaded with large logs rolled over.

The driver almost had a passenger for the day who decided not to get up early and spend this day in the logging truck. Good choice on this day! The passenger side was severely damaged.

Lost Important Pin in Steering Wheel

This truck lost a Important Pin/Bolt in the Steering shaft at 60mph caused major Big Rig wreck and lucky no injury!!!!

A little fuel clean up needed. This was in Northern California on I-5 used 2 Heavy Duty Wrecker and 1 Medium Duty Wrecker to recover a very Heavy container back up onto roadway.

What a ride!!

Big Rig Wreck Logging Truck

Logging truck down over the hillside about 100ft down, completely rolled over and landed between trees and bolders. One tree was wedged between frame and axles.

Winching up the empty trailer.

You couldn't see the truck from the roadway this shot is zoomed way in and you still can't see it very well.
Very difficult recovery with all the terrain, trees, and foliage.

Wreck ripped the hood and headache rack completely off the truck.

Was Loaded With Lumber

This Big Rig truck lost his load of Lumber (redwood) down the hillside in northern California! Recovering the truck and trailer was the easy part of this job. The biggest job was hauling the lumber back up the hillside, re-stacking, and banding. What a job! recovered most of the prime lumber. Successful Heavy Duty Towing job. Drive careful and safety first!

Taking a BreakThe Landoll Trailer comes in handy for a week-end of play away from the Heavy Duty Towing. YEAP....took the Towing equipment on vacation with us to the Rubicon! I guess we just don't know how to sit next to a pool with our feet up, and read a book very well. Had a great memory making time with my boys,Tanner, and daughter-in-law. Thanks Guys for a great week-end!! Now back to real the Heavy Duty Towing in California.

TOUGH TURN

Looks like a really tough turn on this one! Clayton's Towing used the Red Peterbilt Wrecker and the White Wrecker to straighten this one out and get back on the road. No, real damage to the truck or trailer and was able to leave the scene with out being towed.

Over The Hillside We Go!

Big Rig wreck down the hillside on Interstate 5 above Bridge Bay and Lake Shasta on a beautiful Northern California morning. Extremely steep and difficult terrain to recover this Wreck. It was all hands on deck for Clayton's Heavy Duty Wrecker's and recovery team to get this truck, and trailer up that day. This job still took several days to clear all the cargo off the hillside.

This was a bad Big Rig wreck in the rain! The driver was an extremely lucky man, not one broken bone, just sore muscles. Climbed out after they freed him from his wrecked Big Rig.
